Ask
Some people come to college with a lot of questions about their faith; some people come to college pretty sure they have their faith figured out; some people come to college only to find their faith strongly challenged! In Wesley, you can ask your questions —nothing is out of bounds. Because we are a group that encourages faith-based questions, we always strive to leave judgments at the door! So, ask away!
Grow
We hope that involvement in Wesley helps you grow in your walk with Jesus Christ! To achieve this, Wesley hosts weekly large group gatherings where we share a free meal, a chance to hear God speak through both our student-led worship team and our Campus Minister, and a time of prayer. We have student-led Bible Studies; weekend retreats, and you are always welcome to schedule a time to meet with the Campus Minister one on one! No matter how you choose to get involved, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow in your relationship with Jesus!
Serve
Wesley believes that if we love Jesus, then we will show the love of Jesus to others! From small acts of kindness to serving our campus and our greater Winston Salem community to a spring break week of service, the Wesley Foundation is all about showing the love of Christ to others. We can’t wait for you to see what a blessing it is to truly embrace Jesus’ message and serve others!
Belong
As the students in Wesley can tell you, we are much more than a Thursday night worship service. We are a community where friends can come to feel like family. Whether you meet your future roommates on an intramural team or you find your best friend while cheering on the Demon Deacons after a tailgate, everywhere you turn you’ll see someone who cares greatly about you and pushes you to be successful. There is truly no better opportunity to find a place where you belong, and we cannot wait to be a part of your story at Wake Forest.
